Meet Dr. Austin Tocco (Pittsburgh, PA)

Austin Tocco, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University’s School of Optometry, graduating with honors in May 2022. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Virginia University.

Dr. Tocco specializes in ocular disease and contact lenses, providing comprehensive examinations for individuals of all ages. His decision to become an optometrist stemmed from his desire to help people in need and to follow in the footsteps of his cousin and uncle who are also optometrists.

One of Dr. Tocco's favorite aspects of being an OD is witnessing the joy on his patients' faces when they first wear their new glasses. He takes pride in working with a great staff and making friends at Gateway Eye Associates.

In his free time, Dr. Tocco enjoys exploring Pittsburgh with his wife. As an avid Pittsburgh sports fanatic, you can catch him cheering on the Black and Gold, especially on Sundays. Dr. Tocco is dedicated to providing proper care to his patients and is proud to practice close to his hometown.
